Returns, Refunds & Cancellations
We would like you to be sure of your choice. This page sets out exactly what can be returned, how, and when you are refunded. Last updated: 28 October 2026.
Ready pieces
If a ready piece is not right for you, you may ask to return it within 14 days of delivery, provided it is unused and in its original packaging. Please write to hello@mylucr.com with your order number before sending anything back; we will confirm and give you the return address.
Made-to-order and personalised pieces
Pashmina shirts, T-shirts, kurtas, bespoke commissions and any piece made or altered to your specification are made for you alone. They cannot be returned except for a defect or because we sent the wrong item.
One-of-one pieces
A one-of-one piece that is ready to ship is returnable on the same terms as any other ready piece: unused, in its original packaging, and within 14 days of delivery.
Damaged, defective or wrong items
If a piece arrives damaged, has a defect, or is not the item you ordered, please write to us within 14 days of delivery with photographs of the piece and its packaging. We will arrange a replacement, repair or refund, and we cover the return shipping. Small natural variations in weave and tone in handmade pashmina are part of the craft and are not defects.
Refunds
Once we receive and check a returned piece, we refund it to your original payment method within 10 business days. Payments are taken in INR, so the amount returned to your card is the INR amount; the figure you see in your own currency may differ slightly because of your bank's exchange rate. Import duties paid to customs are not refunded by us unless the return is due to our error or a defect.
Return shipping
For a change of mind, return shipping is at your cost, and we suggest a tracked, insured service. For a defect or a wrong item, we cover it.
Cancellations
- Ready pieces: you may cancel before the order is dispatched. Write to us as soon as you can, and we will refund in full.
- Made-to-order pieces: you may cancel before work has begun. Once your specification is confirmed and work has started, the order cannot be cancelled.
- We may cancel an order before it ships if a piece turns out to be unavailable or a listing contains an error. We then refund what you paid in full.
